(Damaged Doll Heads - Bisque)
example of damage to a doll's head. This is an antique bisque doll
whose head had been broken into three pieces.
Because all the pieces were available there was no need to replace lost material and the parts merely needed to be re-joined and reinforced internally. Every effort was made to disguise the joints without resorting to repainting the whole head.
The cost of this repair depends on the degree of damage (from a simple hole in the back of the head to the re-assembly of a "jigsaw puzzle")
