A
Gotz doll and similar types have individual plastic sockets for arms and
legs sewn into a cloth body. The limbs are held to these sockets by
pieces of elastic held by a small plastic cup at each end, one inside the
limb and one inside the body. For some reason this elastic frays
over time and eventually breaks.
New elastic needs to be attached to the cup inside the limb and to the cup inside the body (if the cloth type body then the head must be removed and some of the stuffing removed to get at the cup). |
