(Replacement Eyes in Porcelain Dolls)
Before
Porcelain dolls are usually fitted with breakable glass or acrylic eyes, either fixed in position or part of a sleeping mechanism.
          
Approximate replacement costs are:-
 (depending on eye size and colour)

Acrylic £11 to £14 !    
Glass Paperweight £21 to £24 !  
Glass Blown Crystal    up to £50 * 

! Cost depends on whether existing plaster is correct (easily removed when wet) or not (must be painstakingly chipped away). 

After
* sleeping eyes include a weighted sleeping mechanism £5, wax eyelids £6, mohair eyelashes £6 and fitting £10 to £15.
Plaster socket sleep eyes CANNOT be replaced in Composite Dolls because the head cannot be made wet.
