Teddy Bear's pads and paws can be made of
many different types of material - felt, velvet, corduroy, suede and even
leather. Over the years these pads become worn and holes appear
allowing the stuffing to fall out giving him a limp limbed look. Unlike
fur replacement, pad/paw replacement does not have a detrimental effect on the look of the
bear but it spruces him up and gives him a perkier look.
