Rag
dolls can be hugged to bits, literally. It is possible to repair
parts of the doll but usually, due to fabric deterioration it is safer to
replace parts or, in the worst cases, clone a new doll. If the doll
is in good condition but the clothes are worn or faded then a new outfit
can be made.
Whilst every effort is made to match original fabrics, fashions change and some fabric designs may be impossible to match, in which case a very similar design material will be used. If an exact duplicate is needed than it might be possible to hand print some fabric at an increased cost. Because these repairs can be so diverse it is impossible to give guide prices.
