POORLY
PETER Poorly
Peter was 50 years old and had been handed down from mother to son. After years of
neglect he was rescued by his original owner and sent to the hospital to be prepared for
the new grand-daughter. His eyes were falling out, he had lost his nose and his
mouth, his hands and feet had disintegrated causing the stuffing to be lost from his arms
and his legs, and he no longer growled.
Everything else was repaired but
the holes in his chest could not be matched with new fur. After consultation, it was
decided to give him a velvet waistcoat to keep his chest warm. He has now been
re-christened Proud Peter. |
