WATER DAMAGED SCHOENAU HOFFMEISTER 1909

This was another large ( 24" ) multi-jointed doll damaged by water.  One of the legs had parted from its socket and the upper leg had suffered severe damage.  The leg sockets of the body were also badly damaged and the surface of the hands was blackened and pitted.

After much resurfacing work and an extensive manicure, a complete body repaint was required.  A restring completed the transformation and then she was given an outfit suitable for her age.
