He had his hair cut when he was young - and it didn't grow back!!

When taken to pieces some of the original fur showed around the joints so some new mohair was bought to match.

A new skin was made, and the old eyes were transferred over.

The surgery was only just in time because his fabric was so weak that it was splitting and tearing all over.  After convalescing he felt much better.
