Most
soft plastic dolls have a standard eye setup. The two
eyes are completely independent and are in individual eye sockets.
Over the years the plastic pivot pin inside the eye, that allows the eyes
to open and close, breaks and the eye gets stuck in one position.
These eyes can be replaced with new eyes which come with eyelashes. I do not replace just one
eye because it is virtually impossible to get a colour and style match and
even if possible, the original eye is likely to fail much sooner than the
new one and it is cost effective to replace them together. Please
note that we could not replace eyes in Chicco dolls or First Love dolls or dolls that have a voice box inside their head.
