This doll's name is Nodder because even when she was nearly new she used to frequently lose her head, especially during horror films on TV.  Her owner's father used to carry out Emergency Ward 10 operations nearly every week.

Time went by, her owner got married and Nodder was relegated to the back of the garden shed for 20 years.  When she was found again she was in a terrible dismantled state and she was suffering from Hard Plastic Disease, with cracks in her head and body.

After extensive treatment, hopefully the disease will be held at bay.  All the cracks, splits and walking mechanism were repaired and a wig and new outfit completed her new image.
